Shades of dusk in June

The walls bricked red and amber
The dusty weathered stone
The smell of milk and honey
The bees in flower homes
The orange trees were blooming
In southern Tuscan towns

For what is not yet found

A lady walks in colour in the middle of a path
Trying to uncover parts of her past

The velvet ruby curtains
Were drawn from day till dawn
The shadows dancing slowly
Along the solemn walls

Time is an illusion

An orange cup of coffee
Sits gently in the rust
A staircase small and winding
Leads to a quiet room

A moment with the moon
